Definitive Perioperative Nurses Trauma Care® (DPNTC®) Course

The Definitive Perioperative Nurses Trauma Care (DPNTC) course aims to foster teamwork and collaboration in the interdisciplinary care of the surgical trauma patient. DPNTC runs conjointly with the Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (DSTC) course, this is a course to train together with surgeons and focus on surgical decision-making and operative techniques in the care of critical ill trauma patients.

This two-days course aims to foster teamwork and collaboration in the multidisciplinary care of the surgical trauma patient. The unique lecture program and hands-on surgical operative laboratory gives the perioperative nurse insight and skills necessary to effectively assist surgeons in the Operating Theatres when dealing with life-threatening injuries in the early stages of surgical management.
